Discover the rural Romania from the 17th through the early 20th centuries
Opening its gates to the public in 1936, the Bucharest National Village Museum “Dimitrie Gusti” is located on the shore of Herăstrău lake. Here you can take a stroll through the authentic households – some including indoor areas ready to be explored, churches or machineries brought from all the rural regions of Romania. Keep an eye on their official website for the various events that take place throughout the year.
