A tour of the Romanian popular arts and traditions
With more than 100,000 items in its collections, The National Museum of the Romanian Peasant was founded in 1906. The displayed objects include textiles, icons, ceramics, and other artifacts of the Romanian peasant life. The museum often hosts cultural events, and it includes a cinema that shows predominantly European and art house films. You can also sample local food and beverages at the museum's Club.

Private guided tour*: 72 RON (up to 10 pax) and 120 RON (more than 10 pax)
*Private guided tours are in Romanian, English and Spanish and must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
