An exceptional cultural marathon will mark two major historic events in September: 559 years since Bucharest was first documented and 100 years since Romania’s Great Union, a good occasion for both locals, Romanian and foreign visitors to celebrate. Between September 21st – 23rd, 2018, Bucharest City Hall, through creart – Center for Creation, Art and Tradition of Bucharest, will organize a grandiose cultural program, consisting of three consecutive events.
Friday, 21st of September 2018, will take place an extraordinary concert of the great maestro GHEORGHE ZAMFIR, the most accomplished pan flute artist of all time.
Saturday, 22nd of September 2018, comes with the 5th iMapp Bucharest Edition – one of the biggest 3D videomapping shows worldwide, an international competition which brings design, contemporary art and performance together on the 23,000 square meter façade of the Palace of the Parliament.
Sunday, 23rd of September 2018. After 23 long years, ROD STEWART will perform again in Romania, in Constituției Square from Bucharest, in a concert that will conclude the three-day events dedicated to the celebration of 559 years since Bucharest’s first documentary attestation and the Great Union Centenary.
